December 2022 Las Vegas Housing Market Update
For the greater Las Vegas area real estate market, inventories of new homes are at record lows, buyer demands are at record highs, and this is creating a profound seller’s market. Buyers need to have a letter showing they are pre-qualified or have proof of funds before viewing homes. Many homes are only available for 24 hours before selling and so serious buyers must be ready to make an offer when viewing homes. New home construction is still backlogged months out and in some cases it may be over a year before a new community may be built due to backlogs of permits and paperwork.
