Durango Station: Coming Soon Off the Strip
Station Casinos just broke ground on a new casino in Spring Valley, and given the company’s track record, the area around the brand-new Las Vegas attraction will become highly desirable when it comes to real estate.
The company plans to complete the Durango Station by late 2023, and it’s slated to feature 200 rooms and suites. Further, it is designed with about 20,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, the newest jewel of the Stations Casinos also includes a resort-style pool and a number of other luxury amenities that people have come to expect from Stations Casinos. Additionally, it will also feature 83,000 square feet of casino space, including a state-of-the art sportsbook.

Station Casinos expects to invest $750 million in the project, which will create a significant positive economic impact in the area – and construction is already underway.
“We want to bring that great gambling experience, that unique dining offering and all the fun and entertainment that you would typically get here to the Southwest,” said Scott Kreeger, president of Station Casinos. Furthermore, the casino will also “create thousands of construction and permanent jobs, generating tens of millions of dollars in economic impact and tax revenue to the state and county.”
Communities bound to experience a positive impact include Rhodes Ranch, Mountain’s Edge and Coronado Ranch. Nearby communities also include Sovana, Huntington, Nevada Trails, Copper Ridge and Southern Highlands.
